It is hard to tell what makes the difference in the features of a home theater receiver. There are not too many of them out there, especially if you want quality first. Moreover, plenty of features are relatively similar, but small details tend to make the difference. However, the rapport between costs and quality should prime in your decision. From this point of view, the Denon AVR-X1000 Home Theater Receiver is clearly a very viable solution. With 175 watts of power, 5.1 channels and both 3D and HD capabilities, the receiver is clearly as complete as it can be. But what else do you gain access to?

Key Features:
Denon's gadget is designed with functionality in mind. Therefore, the setup is quick and very easy, without leaving room for mistakes. The display relies on common icons and large fonts, for everyone to understand how to work with it. You even have an assistant at your disposal. At the same time, the cables have different colors to make sure that you hook them in the right slots. As for the functionality, the automatic acoustic correction for the sound is a serious advantage over other similar gadgets. The Audyssey MultEQ XT function measures the room and its shape in order to adjust the speakers and the subwoofer for optimal sound quality. You can always change them according to your preferences, but there is no better sound quality than this. Even the different volumes of commercials are smoothed and evened for an optimal experience. Lastly, the amplifier has 5.1 channels and an overall power of 175 watts.

The AVR-X1000 model has six different HDMI inputs, so it can support 3D and 1080p quality standards. One of them is located on the front panel, while the others are placed on the rear side. Basically, you can connect game consoles, multimedia gadgets or camcorders. On the other hand, there is only one HDMI output. The two zone possibility is yet another impressive additional feature. You can use one source to play some music in one room and a different type of music in a different room. You may just as well watch the news or a football game while your partner plays some relaxing music. The network functionality not only provides you the possibility of relying on Internet radio channels, but also using applications like SiriusXM, Pandora or Spotify. The AirPlay technology is just as impressive, since you can stream music from computers, Apple devices or Android run gadgets. The remote control is very detailed and might take you a while to get used to it.

Denon AVR-X1000
Denon's gadget is great for the 3D and HD possibilities, while the six HDMI inputs give you a lot of extra possibilities. However, the home theater receiver does not support WiFi and this is a serious drawback.

In the end, the Denon AVR-X1000 Home Theater Receiver is not just a random unit, but a very complex one. It has all the required features for a good functionality, but a few additional functions for extra convenience too.
